Ampefy is just over 100 km west of Antananarivo. We need only two hours of travel to reach it. It offers stunning volcanic landscapes, hilly and very different from the usual image of the Big Island.
Small villages surrounded by eucalyptus trees dominate stretches of crops such as papayas, peaches, ... and verdant rice fields. The list of products that come out of this region is very long, namely tomatoes, tobacco, apples, avocados, cassava, and vegetable crops.
Lake Itasy (number 3 in Madagascar), with its 3500 square kilometers of HA, which is reputed for its freshwater fish Tilapia, offers various activities such as fishing, hunting, and water sports. This lake has its water from the River Lily, whose extraordinary beauty of its waterfalls of consensus among all the tourists who have already had to spend. Another curiosity is the Geyser Ampefy Analavory, which is 20Km of Ampefy.
