Ambila
Ambila was a spa centre after the colonial time, when hunters came here on train to shot crocodiles to death. Devastating hurricanes along with the abandonment of the train station and the decline of the Pangalanes canal let the charm of this flourishing village vanish long time ago, even though the place is certainly gaining on visitors again thanks to its superb location on a land fringe between the swell of the ocean and the peaceful waters of the canal.
