Lemurs Tour
Day 1: Antananarivo – Andasibe National Park
After breakfast, your personal driver will take you to the Haute Ville to enjoy views over the city of Tana. You may visit the Rova Palace and the Andafiavaratra Museum if you wish, but entrance fees are not included in our price.
Afterwards, continue to Andasibe National Park, also known as Perinet Park. The park is only 138 km from Tana, and the journey takes about four hours along a paved but winding road.
On the way, you will visit the reptile and insect reserve at Peyrieras Madagascar Exotic in Marozevo, owned by naturalist André Peyrieras.
Day 2: Trek in Perinet Park
After breakfast, drive to the park gate where you will meet your local guide and begin your trek.
Andasibe hosts 11 species of lemurs, including the largest, the Indri Indri, which is easily spotted thanks to its impressive calls. It cannot survive in captivity, so it can only be admired in its natural environment.
After the visit, return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, explore Lemur Island, also known as Vakona Reserve. This reserve contains many groups of lemurs, as well as tenrecs, birds, and crocodiles. Close-up photographs are almost guaranteed.
After the visit, return to the hotel for the night.
Day 3: Andasibe – Antananarivo
After breakfast, drive back to Tana along the same road. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel or at the airport if you have a connecting flight the same day.
