Day 1 : Antananarivo (Breakfast)
Meet and greet at Antananarivo airport by GMT+3 staff and then transfer to your hotel in Antananarivo city.
Day 2 : Antananarivo – Antsirabe (170 km +/- 3h) (Dinner/Breakfast)
After breakfast, depart for Antsirabe, pass through beautiful landscapes of rice fields and highland villages. Stop in Ambatolampy to visit the aluminium fabricators who make a range of products by hand. Continue to Antsirabe. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and have lunch before touring the town by car and viewing the beautiful local handicrafts
Day 3 : Antsirabe – Ambositra – Ranomafana (280km +/- 6h) (Dinner/Breakfast)
After breakfast, visit workshops specialising in Malagasy candy, bicycles, miniature pousse pousse, and gemstones. Then travel to Ambositra, the capital of Malagasy wood crafts, such as marquetry and sculptures made from precious woods like Rosewood. Have lunch before visiting more workshops then continue towards Ranomafana. Leave the highlands and enter the rainforest zone. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and have a nocturnal walk before dinner
Day 4 : Ranomafana – Fianarantsoa (70km +/- 1h30min) (Dinner/Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to Ranomafana National Park to discover its fauna and flora. Visit the park and see a range of lemurs, including Bamboo Lemurs and the rare diademed sifaka, birds, orchids, chameleons, butterflies, frogs and other wildlife. After the visit, have lunch then visit the thermal town of Ranomafana before setting off towards Fianarantsoa. Upon arrival, tour the old town, admire the beautiful landscape and then check in at your hotel.
Day 5 : Fianarantsoa – Ambalavao – Ranohira/Isalo (370km +/- 6h) (Dinner/Breakfast)
After breakfast, depart for Ranohira, via the colonial town of Ambalavao, and see some beautiful colonial architecture and the famous Antemoro paper and silk factory.Visit Anja reserve to see lemurs, orchids and traditional tombs, then cross the high Plateau of Horombe, a landscape of open grassy plains. Upon arrival in Ranohira, check in at your hotel
Day 6 : Ranohira/Isalo (Dinner/Breakfast)
After the breakfast, the transfer to the entrance Park to discover its fauna and its flora. Isalo massif is a plateau of continental stoneware’s dating the Jurassic. Strongly affected, the only batons split by the sandy valleys and the canyons live: a really exceptional show. Today, we are going to begin the visit with the canyons of the monkeys and finish by the Namaza site. You go to discover the panoramic views, rice fields, cliffs made an incision by gorges. You will discover the Old royal village, royal surrounding wall, shower of king, Grave of king, Graves Bara. We will cross acrobatic ascent of the luxuriant gorges, discovered by the exceptional flora of the rain forest and by its numerous groups of Lemurs. We find also birds, butterflies, lizards and other more to discover there...
Day 7 : Ranohira/Isalo – Tuléar – Ifaty (280Km +/- 6h) (Dinner/Breakfast)
Travel back across the high Plateau of Horombe past Ilakaka, the ‘Sapphire Village’ then continue to Tuléar through arid desert landscapes. Along the way see Mahafaly tombs with totems carved from Aloalo. Upon arrival in Tuléar, have lunch before continuing to Ifaty along a sandy road alongside beautiful beaches. Check in at your hotel.
Day 8 : Ifaty (Dinner/Breakfast)
Free day to explore Ifaty and its surrounds, which include the Reniala reserve and its dry forest, baobabs and birds, snorkelling and whale watching from July to October. Or just laze around on the beach.
Day 9: Ifaty - Tuléar - Antananarivo (30km +/- 1h15min and 1h15h flight)
Transfer to Tuléar and then to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, you will be met and then transfer to your hotel to have luch and then continuation towards the old city to know better the largest part of Merina and Madagascar history. Panoramic view of Antananarivo, the Queen Palace (under construction), visits of Andasiavaratra Palace which shelters the exhibition of objects saved from the fire at The Queen Palace in 1995. Andohalo place which is the most ancient square in Antananarivo. After the visit, transfer to your hotel hotel.
Day 10 : Antananarivo
Today, you are doing to visit Ambohimanga Kings Palace which is 25km in the North of the city also name the "blue hill" is classified World Cultural heritage by the UNESCO. One of twelve sacred hills which keeps directly a big part of Merina and Madagascar history. Houses dated 1871 and its surroundings which keeps the real cultural and historic stories. Visit of Madagascar rural during the trip. After the visit, we visit handcrafts market for souvenirs and then transfer to your hotel. After dinner, transfer to the airport for your international flight.
