Manambolo River Tour

DAY 1 : ANTANANARIVO – TSIROANOMANDIDY Meet at the airport. Drive to Tsiroanomandidy. Lunch at the restaurant Kavitaha. Check in to the hotel Manambolo for half board accomodation.
 
DAY 2 : TSIROANOMANDIDY – ANKAVANDRA Transfer to the airport and fly to Ankavandra. Meeting with the team for the downstream trip. Presentation and briefing. Descending the first portion of Manambolo by canoe. Camping near the lake on full board basis.
 
DAY 3 : DESCENDING THE MANAMBOLO Breakfast at the camp. Loading the equipment. Second part of the descent. Meeting the people of the region. Camping near the village on full board basis.
 
DAY 4 : DESCENDING THE MANAMBOLO Continuing the descent, passing cliffs and clear water sources. Succession of silent landscapes. Camping on full board basis.
 
DAY 5 : DESCENDING THE MANAMBOLO Approach to Bemaraha. Passing the spurs of the mountain. Crossing of wild region. Camping on full board basis. Nocturnal trip after dinner to see the crocodiles.
 
DAY 6 : THE TSINGY OF BEMARAHA Crossing of cliffs in an aura of silence and mystery. Visit to caves, ancient vestiges of tombs of the legendary Vazimba. Arrival at Bekopaka. Lunch at the camp. Hiking in the Tsingy of Bemaraha, a coral massif 400 million years old. Camping on full board basis
 
DAY 7 : BEKOPAKA – MORONDAVA

Departure for Morondava. Stop at Belo on the Tsiribihina. Cross the river Tsiribihina by ferry. Stop at the alley of Baobabs. Arrive at Morondava in the afternoon.
